July 12 – The UK charity Kick It Out received a 65% rise in reported incidents of discriminatory behaviour during the 2022-23 domestic season, describing the increase as “alarming”.
Italy bans players wearing No.88 as part of anti-semitism crackdown
June 28 – Italy has banned players from wearing No. 88 on their shirts as part of an initiative combating anti-semitism. The No. 88 is a numerical reference for the nazi slogan ‘Heil Hitler’.
Scottish clubs to fund Ukraine trip to Homeless World Cup in Sacramento in July
June 22 – The Homeless World Cup, which kicks off July 15 in Sacramento in the US, has received a donation from five Scottish Premier League clubs to make sure Ukraine’s team can travel and stay at the tournament.
IACA and SIGA agree joint project initiative and capacity building in fight against corruption

SIGA opens applications for 5th edition of women’s global mentorship programme
