December 27 – Nigeria’s coach Shuaibu Amodu (pictured) has called for the African Cup of Nations to be moved in the football calendar so that teams have more time to prepare.
December 17 – Tickets for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Angola next month will go on sale from next week at branches of the African Investment Bank (BAI) in the four host cities, it was announced today.

November 17 – A star-studded line-up featuring pop stars and politicians are set to attend the draw for the 2010 African Nations Cup being staged by tournament host Angola in Luanda on Friday.
November 7 - The draw for next year’s Africa Nations Cup have been scheduled for November 20 in Luanda, Angola.
December 31 – Kenya is to bid to host the 2016 African Cup of Nations, pitting itself against Mozambique, Namibia, Senegal and Zimbabwe, it has announced.
