September 23 – Former Barbados Chief Justice Sir David Simmons has been appointed to chair the newly formed Integrity Committee of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) in an attempt to improve the organisation’s credibility after 18 scandal-tainted months.

September 21 – UEFA is coming under pressure to investigate the latest claims of racism in European football, this time by visiting Lazio fans at Tottenham Hotspur’s North London White Hart Lane stadium during last night’s Europa League game, which ended goalless.

Gan’s husband charged with AFC theft

September 19 – The husband of Amelia Gan, finance director of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) at the time it was run by Mohamed Bin Hammam, has pleaded not guilty to stealing in the latest cloak-and-dagger development in the ongoing corruption probe into Bin Hammam’s conduct.

Celtic announce £7 million loss
