September 5 – A meeting at the end of this year between the Sports Grounds Safety Authority and the government will be the next stage to deciding whether standing areas will be allowed to return to top flight English football.

August 21 – Tottenham Hotspur’s first Premier League home game at their temporary Wembley home drew a crowd of 73,587, more than double the capacity of White Hart Lane last season.

August 15 – At their upcoming meeting on September 7, Premier League clubs look set vote on whether to part company with other European Leagues and have their transfer window close before the start of the 2018-19 season rather than on August 31 – three weeks into the season.
July 5 – If you happen to be in the region of the Crystal Palace stadium in south London over the next few weeks, you may experience a familiar odour.
June 27 – Premier League newcomers have allayed fears over the safety of the Amex Stadium after it emerged the cladding for the stadium was produced by Reynobond, the manufacturer of the cladding used in the Grenfell Tower that was devastated by fire last week, claiming the lives of at least 79 occupants.
May 26 – The biennial Premier League Asia Trophy will be held this July in Hong Kong with Liverpool leading the line-up and being joined by Leicester City, West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace.
May 25 – Arch-rivals on the pitch, Manchester City and Manchester United have jointly pledged £1 million to an emergency fund set up to support the victims of Monday’s suicide bomb attack that killed 22 people and left 64 injured.

April 13 – Tottenham Hotspur who are redeveloping their White Hart Lane stadium as the centrepiece of a regeneration of their local area, have launched a new programme with bookmakers William Hill aimed at helping young people in Haringey into employment.
February 14 – West Ham lead the Premier League weekly attendance chart for Round 25 of the season – just 17 seats were reportedly unfilled at the London Stadium. Sunderland came bottom of the table with 9,069 unfilled seats at the Stadium of Light.
