August 10 – The Saudi Pro League (SPL) has confirmed more than 130 broadcasters worldwide for the 2023/24 season including streaming channel DAZN in Europe and FOX Sports in the US.

August 8 – Portugal star Gonçalo Ramos is joining PSG from Benfica in a one-year loan deal, with a which has a 65 million obligation to buy at the end of the loan. The fee could rise to €80 million including add-ons for the -23-year-old.

August 8 – Fury over FIFA’s last minute sponsorship deal with Booking.com has failed to slow down as thousands of small hotels and accommodation hosts worldwide remain unpaid, most since early June, with a number reporting they are facing bankruptcy having had to lay off staff and reschedule suppliers.
