August 4 – Thai broadcaster BG Sports has expanded its media partnership with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to include matches played by Thailand’s national teams across all the AFC’s major national team tournaments from 2025/26 to 2028/29.
In September 2024 BG Sports acquired selected competitions from 2024 to 2029. The new deal includes all men’s and women’s national team games as additional games in each championship.
BG Sports will also be expanding its linear TV coverage of key matches of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027, while fans will also be able to watch all matches live on BG Sports’ YouTube channel.
AFC General Secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John said: “The AFC has worked closely with BG Sports to bring the AFC’s competitions to football fans in Thailand, and we are delighted to be able to offer even more world-class action with this partnership extension.
“The quality and standards of our competitions continue to be elevated with every campaign, and we are grateful to BG Sports for their cooperation and belief in Asian football.”

- AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026
- AFC U23 Asian Cup (2026 and 2028)
- AFC Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament (Final Round) for Los Angeles 2028
- AFC U20 Asian Cup 2027
- AFC U17 Asian Cup (2026, 2027, 2028)
- AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup (2026 and 2028)
- AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup (2026, 2027, 2028)
- AFC Futsal Asian Cup (2026 and 2028)
- AFC Women’s Champions League (2025/26 to 2028/29)
