August 1 – The Croatian Football Federation (HNF) has unveiled its new Uhlsport match ball for tonight’s kick-off of the new SuperSport HNL season tonight.
The HNF has partnered with German manufacturer Uhlsport since 2023 for the highest rating sports league in Croatia. The ball will be used in all 180 league matches.
The 2025/26 ball is Uhlsport’s ‘Revolution thermobonded’ and has been redesigned for the new season.
The recognisable Croatian red and white checkerboard pattern stands out. “It is the pattern by which Croatia has been recognized worldwide as a football superpower that won silver and bronze medals at the past two world championships,” said an HNS statement.
For the first time, the official SuperSport HNL ball will be available for purchase in the official online store of the Croatian Football Federation.
The 24-panel construction uses thermo-bonding technology to ensure perfect roundness and extremely low water absorption. At the same time, the durable structured polyurethane material with an additional layer of high-density foam ensures perfect bounce, while the bladder has excellent air retention thanks to state-of-the-art technology, said Uhlsport.
“I believe that the entire football community shares the excitement about the start of the new SuperSport HNL season, after we had such an attractive finale just two months ago. I really like the new design of our official ball – with our partner uhlsport, we wanted to further highlight what Croatia is best known for in terms of design, which is the red and white squares in which we have achieved exceptional sporting successes as a country,” said HNS President Marijan Kustić.
