Inter Milan’s sweet deal with Balocco

July 30 – Serie A runners-up Inter Milan have signed a new three-year deal with Italian confectionery brand Balocco, adding another high-profile partner to their commercial roster.

The Turin-based company, best known for its breakfast biscuits and seasonal sweets, becomes an Official Club Partner and will feature pitchside at San Siro during Serie A and Coppa Italia fixtures – though there’s no mention of continental football as the club embark on another attempt at the UEFA Champions League crown after failing so spectacularly in last season’s final.

As part of the agreement, the two will also roll out co-branded licensed products and joint digital campaigns aimed at fans in Italy and abroad — with a particular focus on growing visibility in the Middle East, Far East, and Africa.

For Inter, the partnership adds another flavour to their expanding commercial network, while for Balocco, it’s a chance to tap into the global reach of one of Italy’s most iconic clubs.

Giorgio Ricci, chief revenue officer of FC Internazionale Milano, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Balocco to the Inter partnership family. This collaboration strengthens a long-standing relationship built on creating products designed for our fans. Two Italian bedrocks, united by passion, tradition and a shared focus on innovation, coming together to speak directly to families and the Nerazzurri community.”

No value was given for the sponsorship.

Alessandra Balocco, Balocco President and CEO, added, “This partnership with Inter is founded on shared values such as passion for sport and strong team spirit – values we identify with fully. We firmly believe that sport is a universal language capable of uniting people and building connections.”
