Liverpool land new partnership with forex broker EC Markets

24 July – Liverpool have announced a new multi-year partnership with forex and commodities broker EC Markets.

Currently in a serious global expansion phase, the Liverpool deal is key to EC Markets. Dealing across forex, indices, equities, and commodities, EC Markets’ target markets and clients never sleep and span every continent where Liverpool has fans.

Upwards of 500 million TV viewers per season will see EC Markets branding on Anfield’s pitchside LED displays and digital boards. For a company looking to establish global credibility in financial markets, that’s advertising gold you simply can’t buy elsewhere.

It’s branding debuts during Liverpool’s pre-season double-header against Athletic Club on August 4.

Ben Latty, Liverpool’s chief commercial officer, welcomed the deal, saying the club wanted “partners who share our passion, ambition and commitment to innovation.”

Matthew Smith, EC Markets’ CEO, thanked “the number one football club in the most prestigious league in the world.”

“Just as Liverpool FC has earned its place at the top through relentless dedication and success, we too are committed to position EC Markets as a number one leader in financial markets,” he added.
