May 20 – The Football Federation of Montenegro (FSCG) has agreed a deal with financial services provider OTP Group, its CKB Bank (Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka) becoming the sponsor of all Montenegro national teams.
“OTP Group has been present in Montenegro for 15 years through CKB. As one of the leading financial institutions in the country, CKB plays an important role in supporting and developing the local economy, providing clients with high-quality services and employees with a modern and dynamic working environment. With this partnership, OTP Group supports the development of football in Montenegro at all levels – from the youngest selections to the senior national team,” said an FSCG statement.
“I am very pleased that today we can officially begin cooperation between the Football Association of Montenegro and CKB, a member of the OTP Group. This is a new step in the further work of the Football Association and at the same time the beginning of a relationship with a bank that is recognized as a market leader in our country. I want to thank CKB for recognizing the values inherited by our Association and deciding to work with us on the further improvement of football in Montenegro. I am confident that this cooperation will last for many years and will be an example of a partnership between the two companies, said Dejan Savićević, president of FSCG.
No value or term was given for the deal.
