May 19 – The Football Association of Serbia (FSS) is to support all women’s clubs in the Serbian Super League and First League with the supply of a full kit, consisting of a shirt, shorts, and socks.
The kits will be delivered to the clubs no later than June 30 this year, the Serbian Football Association announced.
“Continued support in equipment and logistics is one of the strategic goals of the FSS when it comes to women’s football. In this way, we contribute to clubs that, in addition to being active participants in the strongest leagues based on their results, dedicate their resources, time, and funds to the development of women’s football and as such deserve every kind of support,” said FSS vice president Sandra Sremčević.
“UEFA, through the HatTrick development programmes, has enabled us to improve the Women’s Football Sector by expanding human resources and ensuring that support is localised and accessible to everyone involved in women’s football. It is necessary to increase the team of people working on the development of women’s football, and this is the first step,” said Ruža Ilić, Grassroots Football Manager and HatTrick Coordinator at the FSS.
