Ludogorets call in Husqvarna’s robots for Champions League campaign

May 16 – Bulgarian champions Ludogorets Razgrad have signed a partnership with Swedish industrial company Husqvarna. As a result of the signed contract, the latest generation of robotic lawnmowers will maintain all the pitches of the club’s training complex in Razgrad.

In 2025, Husqvarna celebrates 30 years since the creation of its first robotic lawnmower – a technology that has found application in a number of sports facilities around the world over the years.

Ludogorets won the Bulgarian title for a record 14th time in a row and will participate in the preliminary rounds of the Champions League for another year.

“After six months of successful trials, the management of PFC Ludogorets decided to implement robots for the maintenance of the fields of its training complex. The champions, who have the most modern base in Bulgaria, take exceptional care of the grass cover of the fields and in this regard have concluded a partnership agreement with the most successful company in the field – Husqvarna,” Ludogorets said in a statement.

“The club will use the professional series of Husqvarna CEORA robotic lawn mowers, which provide precise mowing and save efforts for the field maintenance team. The mowers work efficiently even with busy schedules. The new system will help maintain the high quality of the grass surface. PFC Ludogorets thanks Husqvarna for the trust and hopes for a long-term, fruitful cooperation with the leading European company.”
