Bosnia and Herzegovina clubs receive UEFA Emergency Grant support

May 13 – A total of six clubs from Bosnia and Herzegovina are set to receive grants of €8,300 from UEFA’s Emergency Grants initiative with the support of the country’s football federation.

The funds will be paid to the following clubs: FK Klis (Buturović Polje), NK Kiseljak (Kiseljak), NK Brnjaci (Brnjaci-Kiseljak), NK Kreševo (Kreševo), FK Turbina (Jablanica) and FK Fojnica (Fojnica), with the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (NS/FS BiH) initiating the process.

In addition to the financial assistance provided by UEFA, the clubs will also receive football equipment, which will be donated by the German Football Association. The stadiums and infrastructure of these clubs were severely damaged during the floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina in October 2024.

Representatives of the six clubs visited the headquarters of the NS/FS BiH to sign agreements on the distribution of financial resources, officially beginning the implementation of the decision made by the Executive Board of the NS/FS BiH.

“The NS/FS BiH expresses its gratitude to UEFA and the German Football Association for their support, and confirms its commitment to continue to actively work to assist clubs across the country, especially in extraordinary circumstances that threaten basic sports infrastructure”, a release stated.
