In the last year, Levski managed to repay a large part of their obligations to the National Revenue Agency and is currently not generating additional loans.
“The club’s financial results for the last calendar year show that PFC Levski confidently continue on the path to stabilising our financial foundation,” an official statement said.
“Last year, the club generated revenues of BGN 41.92 million (€21m), which represents significant progress compared to previous years’ results. Thanks to this financial activity, PFC Levski was able to reduce a significant part of our liabilities accumulated in the past.
“The reported net profit for the period amounted to BGN 14.69 million (€7.5 m), as the club significantly reduced our historically accumulated liabilities and continues our active policy of financial recovery.
“Within 2024, PFC Levski was able to repay a large part of our liabilities to the National Revenue Agency, Sofia Municipality and main suppliers. In parallel, the management was able to take steps in strategic areas such as improving the infrastructure and developing the club academy.
“Levski Sofia evaluates the positive financial result as an important step forward, but emphasies that there is still much work to be done to achieve full financial stability and sustainable growth.
“The club expresses our gratitude to everyone who is part of this process – especially the team’s supporters.
“The management of PFC Levski remains committed to the principles of transparency, responsibility, and strategic planning and believes that each of the team’s employees and partners must continue to work hard to achieve long-term goals and to build an even more solid foundation for future generations of Levski fans.
“The publication of the Annual Financial Report is part of the club’s commitment to openness towards society and fans and, together with the Independent Auditor’s Report, is available to the wider football community.”
