June 2 – Concacaf and Universal Music Latino have launched the official song of the Gold Cup 2025, ‘Tocando el Cielo’, performed by global Latin superstar Luis Fonsi.
The song and music video premiered May 29, ahead of a special live performance at the tournament’s Opening Ceremony on June 14 at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, where Gold Cup holders Mexico open their defense against Dominican Republic.
Announced during the Gold Cup Draw, the song celebrates the region’s love of football with the power of culture and music.
“Being part of the Gold Cup is an incredible honor,” said Fonsi. “Music and football have the power to unite, and I’m proud to help bring that energy to fans across the region.”
Written by Fonsi with Grammy-winning producers Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo, ‘Tocando el Cielo’ is a high-energy track commemorating teamwork, ambition, and the love of the game. The official video – directed by Andrés Turcio and filmed in Miami – captures the emotion and excitement of the Gold Cup.
A Spanglish version of the song will also be available, embracing the bilingual identity of the Confederation and creating a unifying song for fans across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
