Barca tunes up Travis Scott promo and merchandise for Clásico

May 2 – Barcelona will wear a limited-edition Travis Scott x Cactus Jack kit in next weekend’s Clásico against Real Madrid, the latest chapter in the club’s commercial partnership with Spotify.

The move brings together music, fashion and football at one of the sport’s most-watched fixtures – and underlines Barça’s strategy to leverage brand partnerships beyond the pitch.

The shirt, featuring Scott’s Cactus Jack branding in place of the usual Spotify logo, will also be worn by the women’s team in their final Liga F game of the season on May 18. Only 1,899 jerseys will be made available to the public, accompanied by a full merchandise collection including hoodies, retro shirts and branded accessories.

The Grammy-nominated artist will also perform an invite-only concert in Barcelona the night before the match — a first for any of the acts who have collaborated with the club.

“The Clásico is a moment the whole world taps into,” Scott said. “Teaming up with Barcelona lets me merge my universe with theirs.

“This wasn’t just about throwing Cactus Jack on a jersey. It’s about building something that blurs the line between sound and sport.”

Previous one-off shirt drops have featured Coldplay, Rosalía, Drake, Karol G and The Rolling Stones, but Scott’s involvement takes the partnership further into live event territory, deepening fan engagement and commercial opportunity.

The initiative continues Spotify’s wider goal of blending music and sport into a shared digital and physical experience, while also offering Barcelona — still wrestling with long-term financial constraints — a valuable revenue stream tied to exclusivity and pop culture relevance. With a global fanbase and one of the most streamed artists on the planet (67 million monthly listeners), the campaign is designed to resonate with younger, lifestyle-driven audiences.

On the pitch, the Clásico could have decisive consequences for the LaLiga title. Just four points separate the two sides, with only three matches remaining after May 11. The Blaugrana have won all three meetings so far this season — a fact Real Madrid will be desperate to reverse with the La Liga title well and truly up for grabs.
